Our Team

Victoria Monteiro - Experienced Salon Owner & Stylist Specializing in Senior Haircare

From 1973 to 1991, Victoria Monteiro was the Owner and General Manager of Lumont Enterprises, successfully operating and expanding three beauty salons in the greater Philadelphia area. She oversaw hiring and training for 25 employees, developed marketing campaigns for major publications, and created a formal training program to keep stylists up to date with the latest trends.

 

Beyond the salon industry, Victoria gained high-end hospitality experience as the Concierge Floor Manager in Philadelphia (1993-1994), where she provided individualized service to distinguished guests.

 

Victoria's experience in salon management continued in 2004 when she managed daily operations at Style of Man (2004-2006) and Pileggi on the Square (2007) in Philadelphia, PA. In these roles, she handled scheduling for multiple stylists, managed client appointments, processed transactions, and ensured top-tier customer service.

 

She later brought her expertise to The Dry Bar in San Francisco, CA (2013-2015), where she mastered high-volume, fast-paced blow-dry styling, performing up to 15 blow-drys per day and servicing trade shows, conferences, and private events.

Victoria Monteiro is now a salon owner and hairstylist with decades of experience in the beauty industry, specializing in personalized hair care services at a national senior living facility.

 

Since 2015, she has owned and operated a full-service hair salon at a national senior living facilities in Lafayette and Oakland, CA, catering to the unique needs of senior men and women, including those with Alzheimer's disease. The salon provides customized services such as haircuts, blow-drys, coloring, permanent waves, roller sets, manicures, and barbering,  using senior-friendly products. She is dedicated to creating a warm, inviting space that enhances the confidence and well-being of her clients.
